An SRB is a for-profit venture that seeks to leverage business for a more just and sustainable world. The objective of the SRB involves more than just maximizing profits; it is about creating positive changes and making valuable contributions to the community, customers, and staff.

 

  • Unlike nonprofits, Creativum does not want it´s social objectives to be dependent on donations and grants, which can be unstable. Instead, with sustainability in mind, it aims to finance its social objectives through the fabrication and the sale of its products.

  • While some nonprofits are mostly composed of volunteers, Creativum aims to provide as many fair pay jobs as possible to people in need.

  • While nonprofits are exempt from many forms of taxation, Creativum has no problem with the idea of paying taxes.

 

Why SRB and not nonprofit?
